I remember the first time we had avocado juice. A “corner-preneur” gave us some free and we both had :/ this face…. cuz you know free shhh… But that’s the day we found something we could BOTH be addicted to! ?
–Of course avocados ain’t news unless you have a husband like mine who looks at you crazy anytime you mention a new vegetable!–
So yeah, we got hooked. We can drink the stuff by the JUG!
….and is the way of street vendors, you never run across ’em with the good stuff when you go back lookin for it… The Need got too real so I had to figure out how to make it myself.
•3 ripe avocados (not overripe but DEFINITELY not underripe)
•1 cup sweetener (agave nectar is an awesome idea, we also use organic sugar)
•1 1/2 qt water (plus 2 1/2 more quarts)
•juice from 1/2 lemon, fresh
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a large pitched and add the additional 2 1/2 qt of water, stir. Taste and add more sugar if needed. ENJOY!!
